Who are SavvyCle’s Tutors?

My name is Blossom, a tutor at SavvyCle – Online Tutoring. I am a college student who has a huge desire to help students reach their academic goals and discover their academic potential. As a current Junior Computer Science Major in Maryland, USA, I am a straight A student and 2019, and 2020 President’s List Honoree with a Dean’s Scholar Award, Cyber Scholar Award, and experience as an SI PASS (Calculus I) Leader after being nominated by my first Calculus College Professor for my ability to pass Calculus with an A+.

I have a passion for education and I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. I have been tutoring students, both online and in-person, for up to 4 years now. Also, I have helped many college students ace their classes with my one-on-one sessions that are affordable and flexible. In addition, I also have experience tutoring students who have issues with math or science classes. I help with these issues through my methods of teaching the material they need help with while still making sure it’s fun and engaging for them at the same time!

Issues Students are Facing

For as long as I have been a Professional Tutor, students have been complaining about the high prices of online tutoring. Many websites charge ridiculously high rates, which can be unaffordable for students. Not only that, but some students want to learn and desire to but they have a family to take care of, their health, their rent, and much more! All this can cause students to shy away from seeking online tutoring help as the barrier to entry on most websites is tall, with stacks of ridiculously high costs.

There are even more problems students face in schools and institutions that include:

• Large classroom sizes
• Low retention of material
• Not enough resources
• No time to follow in-person tutoring schedules
• Lack of proper technology or books needed for school
• Not enough funds to afford expert tutors who can help them
• Unavailable school tutors

Online Tutoring Platforms Don’t Offer Students the Solutions They Need

That is why more and more students are turning to online tutoring to support their academic progress. However, some students are still not able to access the incredible resources that online tutoring, and, as a result, they don’t get the proper help they need. Students who do get access to online tutoring on the other hand still are faced with many hurdles like:

• Trouble understanding the tutors
• Getting help from unqualified or unavailable tutors
• Lack of attention from tutors
• Low amount of sessions due to incredibly high costs (again, the costs)
• and more!

This is not the ideal situation for students as they need to succeed and retain the knowledge they learned, as it is important for their academic success.

It’s a shame because they deserve better care than this!

An Overview of My Time as a Online Tutor on Different Online Platforms

After working with online platforms and helping thousands of students, I understand what problems students are facing, that online platforms aren’t helping with, such as not only paying high fees for quality tutoring but also getting unqualified tutors on top of the high costs. During my time as a Professional Tutor, both online and in-person, I have received reviews such as,

I know what good tutoring techniques are, and I know how to provide them to students no matter the age level. At the end of the day, I want every student to understand, not be ever more confused in their classes or courses, or struggle meanwhile some great tutors can help at low costs.
